Driverless tractors, machinery finding their way onto fields

Purdue faculty member Jian Jin has unveiled PhenoBee—a drone robot that can be programmed to fly to designated locations in the field and then automatically detect and scan the targeted levels at each location and report the crop growth status in real time.
