The fate and transport of chemical contaminants
Researching how pollutants move through and transform within air, water, and soil systems, influencing exposure, persistence, and ecological impact based on physical, chemical, and biological processes.
Development of novel remediation technologies
Creating innovative methods to detect, remove, or neutralize environmental pollutants, enhancing ecosystem recovery and public health protection through advanced materials, biological processes, and sustainable engineering solutions.
Communication of scientific risks
Clearly conveying potential hazards and uncertainties related to environmental stressors to the public and policymakers, enabling informed decisions through transparent, evidence-based messaging tailored to diverse audiences and cultural contexts.
